Fan content policy
Short version: yes, please. Fanart, videos, streams, edits, cosplay, theories about the sunflowers — the Everpath grows when walkers tell its stories. This page is the simple, human-readable licence for doing that.
You're welcome to
- Create and share fanart, videos, streams, guides, edits, memes, and fan fiction using Wanderhearts characters and the game's look.
- Monetize videos and streams on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch (ads, memberships, platform funds) — no permission needed.
- Sell a small run of handmade fan merch (prints, charms) at cons or artist alleys. For anything mass-produced, email us first.
Please don't
- Present fan work as official, or use the Wanderhearts name/ logo in a way that implies we made or endorsed it. "Fanart" in the description is plenty.
- Post sexually explicit depictions of the companions under the Wanderhearts name or brand hashtags. (The game is rated 17+ for its gacha, not for that — keep the shared spaces all-ages.)
- Repackage the game's actual asset files (art, music, video) for redistribution — draw your own take instead; that's the fun part.
- Use fan work to promote hate, harassment, gambling services, or crypto/NFT projects.
About our art (transparency)
Wanderhearts is built by one person; the in-game character art and music are AI-generated and then hand-curated, and we label them that way. Your fan work has no such rule — human-drawn, AI-assisted, macaroni on cardboard: all welcome. We just ask that you label AI-generated fan work where platforms require it, like we do.
Sharing with us
Tag @playwanderhearts (TikTok/IG/YouTube) or @wanderheartsapp (X) — with your permission we love to repost fan work with credit. We'll always ask before reposting and always credit; if we ever miss, email hello@wanderhearts.app.
This policy can evolve; the version on this page is the one in force. It's a licence, not a transfer — Wanderhearts and its characters remain ours, and this permission doesn't apply to anyone violating the "please don't" list.
